How is the Kingdom Visible to You?

I was recently listening to a series of radio pod casts from two prominent pastors. Their messages were not really similar. One pastor was in the Gospels taking us to the cross. The other pastor was in Revelation talking about the seven churches. Somehow these two very different message themes combined to get me thinking about how we see God’s Kingdom. Jesus, Himself, announced the Good News of the Kingdom! It is something that we experience on a daily basis; but if it is here and we experience it, how do we see it?

The Kingdom comes to us in small ways, invisible ways. We can experience the Kingdom, but we only have a visual view of the effects of the Kingdom at this time. The ways I have seen the Kingdom of God are in the ways that I have been ministered to by the people of God. I see it in how God has provided every need…not necessarily every want. My every need has been met.

God’s Kingdom may not be the way that some believed it would be. Some thought it would be a physical manifestation to solve all their problems. The realization is that God’s Kingdom is a spiritual kingdom and is it building toward the physical manifestation of the coming Heavenly Kingdom.

“20 And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: 21 neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.”  Luke 17:20-21 (American Standard Version)

God’s Kingdom is not visible, but it is here and it is near!

What is your relationship to the all-knowing God of the universe? Do you know the peace that can come only from an intimate relationship with Jesus? You can know Him.  Jesus Christ—God’s Son, born into human flesh, sinless, crucified and giving His life freely, buried, arisen on the third day—will come into your life and change the outcome of your eternity. You just have to be willing to believe and accept His truth. In addition, here is an excellent page that can give you additional information on peace with God: PeaceWithGod.net.
